Refund, Return, and Shipment Policy

This policy applies to all orders placed on or after the effective date stated above.


1. General Return and Refund Policy

Our refund and return policy lasts 14 calendar days from the date of purchase.
If more than 14 days have passed since your order date, we might be unable to offer a refund, exchange, or store credit.

All refunds, where applicable, will be issued to the original payment method / store credit only.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition as received.
  • It must be in its unopened original packaging, with all manufacturer labels intact.
  • Returns that fail to meet these conditions may be refused or partially refunded at our discretion.

A 20 % restocking fee applies to all approved returns unless otherwise stated in writing by 888 Truck Part.

All shipping costs associated with returning an item are the responsibility of the customer.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Returned items are subject to inspection before approval. Refunds are processed only after the product has been received, inspected, and deemed eligible.


2. Partial Refunds and Exceptions

Partial refunds may be issued when:

  • The item is not in its original condition, is damaged, opened, or missing parts for reasons not caused by 888 Truck Part.
  • The return is requested after the 14-day window but approved as an exception.
  • The item is returned without prior authorization.

3. Refused, Undeliverable, or Abandoned Shipments

If a shipment is refused at delivery, undeliverable after repeated carrier attempts, or abandoned by the recipient, the following terms apply:

  • Once the shipment is returned to 888 Truck Part, a refund for the product cost only will be issued.
  • All original shipping charges, return freight, and carrier handling fees will be deducted from the refund.
  • Items returned in unsellable condition (opened, damaged, missing parts, or repackaged) may be subject to additional deductions.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • If you wish to have your order reshipped, please contact us to arrange payment for new shipping costs before resending.

4. Refusal or Abandonment Due to Customs or Import Fees

For international shipments—including those to the United States, Mexico, or other destinations outside Canada—the buyer is solely responsible for all import duties, taxes, brokerage, and customs clearance fees.

If a shipment is:

  • Refused at customs,
  • Abandoned due to unpaid duties or import taxes, or
  • Not returned by the carrier or customs authority,

then no refund will be issued, as 888 Truck Part will not receive the product back.

If such a shipment is returned, a refund will be issued minus all associated costs, including outbound and return shipping, customs, brokerage, and clearance fees billed to 888 Truck Part.


5. Abandoned or Unreturned Orders

If a shipment is not returned by the carrier (for example, if UPS disposes of, destroys, or loses the goods while in customs or transit custody), the order will be deemed abandoned.
Abandoned orders are non-refundable and considered closed once confirmed by the carrier or if no return occurs within a reasonable period.


6. Processing of Returns and Refunds

Once a returned item is received and inspected, the customer will be notified by email regarding the approval or denial of the refund.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days after inspection.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or, where applicable, as store credit at our discretion.
    • Store credits do not expire and may be applied toward future purchases.

7. Exchanges

We only replace items that are defective or damaged upon receipt.
To request an exchange for the same product, please email orders@888truckpart.com before returning the item.
All exchanges require prior authorization.


8. Return Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
If a refund is approved, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from the refund total.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. 888 Truck Part cannot guarantee receipt of returned items and is not liable for lost, damaged, or misrouted returns.
